You know what I miss? I miss me some really good toast in the mornings. Since I have been pumping I have had to change my diet drastically. One would assume such changes would induce weight loss. Not so my dear friends, not so. Why? I haven't had a doughnut in, like, forever... I haven't had toast, or pasta, or anything creamy and fattening and yet my flabby midsection remains the same.
At least that is what the scale tells me. I got on it this morning and it played a really mean trick on me. It said I weight about 8 pounds less than I did yesterday. I got off of the scale and back on and it was the same. I new it wasn't true, so I moved the scale around, got back on, and the number returned to what I'd expected.
Stupid.
I should be shedding the pounds from not eating pastas, fattening foods, you know, dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, corn...
Sigh..
What's the deal?
I did find that if you make a yellow cake mix from the brand Pamela's, which is gluten free, and mix it was some fresh strawberries, blueberries, bananas and a sprinkle of maple syrup, it's actually pretty yummy.
So there....
