Discovery

I have discovered something wonderful today (maybe it's not wonderful). I am officially allergic to my kitchen. Yep, that's right. I have a severe allergy to the kitchen. Actually to anything close to, surrounding, or belonging in the kitchen. If I come within a couple of feet of the kitchen weird things start to happen. My brain shuts down, my desire to eat food is diminished, my gag reflex is triggered, and soon to follow is the throw-up, and if that happens then absolutely no cleaning in the kitchen gets done. I'm not even going to start on what happens when I even look at the dishes. That's another post altogether.


My doctor said it was normal. The only problem, he told me, was that it is very, and I mean very contagious. If you know someone with this disease/allergy be careful and don't come in contact with them as you too will become allergic to your kitchen. He also said he sees and influx in this problem during the summer months, or during pregnancy (which can also be contagious). Don't be alarmed though, at some point the allergy subsides and you can return to the normal duties in the kitchen, because I want that to happen.
